Coming out ,
coming out the closet
yes thats what I'm trying to do.
So stuffy in there
I didn't know what to do.
I told my family yes I did,
I told my sister and my kids.
They act as if they didn't understand,
So I looked them in the eye as I began to cry.
My daughter looked at me and said,
"Momma why?"
I said, "I have no desire for a man."
She said, "I'll be damned!
How long have you known?"
"Only for a little while.
I've been curious."
She said, "no."
I said," yes."
She said, "momma, no!"
I said, "it's true."
