The focus on being happy is to always look at what you do have. Count your blessing. I guarantee you they will outnumber your lack of dollars by at least two to one. One more thing to take into account, the grass is always greener. Yes someone is envious of your lawn and would gladly trade with you. The grass may be a lot greener, but that water bill is atrocious, and the maintenance is taxing. They may want to trade sleeping outside on a park bench for your lovely home that needs to be painted and has plumbing woes and a leaky roof.
Then ask yourself, what can you buy with money, that will make you happy? You might say a piece of mind. Maybe a new car. Well, I have never wanted just a piece of mind. It's all or nothing for me. A new car will very soon become old. It actually depreciates as soon as it is driven off the car lot. Do you believe people will like you just because you have money? Will that truly make you happy? I suggest the friends you have now, without you having the benefit of money, more than likely are your true friends.
Money can buy you friends. Trust me, you don't need disposable friends. When your money is gone, these free loaders will disappear too. Now, won't that make you happy. You have lessoned your burden. If you have no money, no one expects you to pick up the check. Don't be ashamed to show them your empty, lint filled pockets. Perhaps someone may start a Charity in your honor. Won't that make you happy?
Today, did you make someone smile? Making someone else happy besides yourself is deeply rewarding. Try it, it really works. It won't be long before someone will go out of their way to make you happy or just make your day. When is the last time you winked at that winner in the mirror. Go ahead , take a peek. See, there you are. Aren't you happy to see you?
Who do you love and who may I ask loves you? Has anyone ever told you the value of love .I'm certain it would not be monetary. If there is no one to share money with, it absolutely has no value at all. The very last thing to consider. We may never be in the higher tax bracket? We won't need to employ accountants to keep track of our money. Most poor people enjoy spending the little money we do have. Their in lies our problem. We will never be considered horders of money. Last but not least to bring a smile to your face. The Bible states the last will be first. Well it's about time and the meek shall inherit the earth. All of these things make me very very happy!
