Poetry: Dying

"Just Another Hopeless Romantic"

In life there are no backspace buttons
No instant deletes and no escapes
Or are there?
Do we not take life for granted?
Can it not be at once ended?
Ended by sacrifice or chance or planned death
Suicide, an instant end
The escape or delete button of life
Pop the lid
Drop the empty bottle
Swallowing the pills you nearly choke
Tears flow down your face
Past plush pink innocent lips
Is this what you wanted?
Unfortunately there's no backspace button now
Claw at the walls as your stomach churns
Vision begins to blur, room begins to spin
You fall to the floor
Harddrive crash
Blue screen of death.
