La Senza Lingerie VS Victoria's Secret Christmas Line (lingerie)

This article portrays the men's point of view whilst "critiquing" lingerie catalogs. The following is a comparison between La Senza's Lingerie portrayed on their website versus Victoria's Secret's lingerie Christmas Line. The reason behind this writing was to aid in the improvement of lingerie for the good of everyone! This article is in dedication to the creation of a St.Patrick's Day lingerie line. Booze plus lingerie!? Come on! It's GENIUS! Before continuing, I would like it to be stated that, THIS IS THE BEST SUBJECT TO CRITIQUE... EVER!

La Senza:

Colour: Zebra stripe is lackluster and fails to impress. Also, the girl looks like a deer in the headlights.

Material: Silk- nice choice, classy lady!

The plaid lacks the dazzle!

Style: Frill- Used appropriately

NO MOO MOOS!

POSES: Poses are new and original but occasionally repeated. Not boring to look at!

Faces: No Fuglies!

Some expressions are sexy!

Some aren't...

The occasional not sexy pose.

Victoria's Secret Christmas Line (Lingerie):

Colour: Lots of red. That's not always Christmas!

Mainly shiny, occasionally maroon.

We also see polka dots (Not Christmasy!)

Material: Lace- Very Nice!

Silk- Sooth to the touch!

Pleather- Sexy old style material.

Hard to portray as Christmas but she pulled off.

Style: Classy and sexy! Various types, from two piece to one.

Pajamas for lazy people.

Nightgowns are better than Moo Moos!

Majority two piece straps.

Poses: Close ups are ineffective

- Girls are WAY HOTTER!

- DIH syndrome (Dear In Headlights)

- Poses are repeated

Faces: No fugly people!

From smiles, to sexy face, every expression is used...

Except the don't look at me face, obviously!

Victoria's Secret ultimately triumphs over La Senza. Victoria's Secret's utilization of the simplistic two piece and straps created a stronger, more consistent line in comparison to La Senza's.

The use of Moo Moos by La Senza was utterly inappropriate and uncalled for! Victoria's Secret countered with a combination of lace and nightgown. This strategy maintained swagger and edge compared to the Moo Moo!

The only true downfall to Victoria's Secret's line was the colour. A large company such as Victoria's Secret should not assume that just because it's red, it is directly related to Christmas! A minor flaw but still notable!

What truly launched Victoria's Secret to the top of the podium was the clear understanding of less is more. That is Victoria's REAL Secret!
