Tips for leapfrogging Helium articles

One of the best ways to make money at Helium is to make sure that your articles are ranked as high as possible. One of the best ways to make sure that your articles are ranked as high as possible is to leapfrog them every so often. Leapfrogging has a lot of good benefits to it, and there are many reasons why you would want to leapfrog. Keep in mind that your articles will go down in rank every so often even if the article was a good one.

Articles will go down every so often simply because when someone else leaps an article, it sets off a whole new round of rating. When this happens it might be possible that a new set of raters will end up liking the other article as opposed to yours. It could also mean someone else has decided to leap an article, and that will also trigger a whole new round of ratings.

The best thing to keep in mind when you are leap frogging an article is to look for the simplest things first. There have been numerous articles where I will merely change the spelling of a word, or check to make sure that I have punctuated correctly. Usually it can be a misspelled word, or a missed period that can change the rank of an article for the better.

However, make sure that you change the article sufficiently when you are leaping the article. Sometimes the only thing that happens when you change one or two words is that the leap just gets rejected. If you have just a couple of things to change, you should send the article to the staff at Helium, and they will change the article for you.

You only have so many leaps, so make sure that the articles that you are leaping are the ones that you really want to work on. It isn't worth using a leap when you are at 2 of 48 just because you want to be number one. You should really only leap the ones that are 59 out of 59, or ones where you feel like you never put in the effort, and the leap will improve rank and page views. Ranking is subjective too, so only leap to affect your writing score, because that's all the rank objectively determines.

Everyone has to leapfrog an article from time to time, and there is nothing wrong with that. It just means that you are going to be improving your work, and writing is a process. It takes a lot of time and energy to come up with a truly great article, so don't hesitate to try and give your article the best ranking possible!
