Lots of people love to play games and I am one of them. There are so many board games it isn't even funny. There are mystery ones, puzzle ones, action ones, etc. You may be thinking about buying a family member a Christmas gift of a mystery board game. Well, here are my top five favorite mystery board games.
1. Clue is my all-time favorite mystery game. Was it Colonal Mustard in the Kitchen with the candlestick or was it Mr.Green in the dining room with a rope? This game takes a while to play, but if you are into mystery games then this is a great one to play. There are also a few different versions of it such as Simpson's Clue and Scooby-Doo Clue.
2. CSI- The Board Game is also quite fun especially if you like the show. It requires a bit of reading and thinking, but you get used to and get into it after a few minutes. This game gives you actual details of a murder and you have to find out who the suspect is based on the evidence presented to you. There is also a CSI Miami board game.
3. An Evening of Murder - A Feast to Die For is a mystery game with a twist. Instead of finding the suspect, you are a suspect! Each player has a secret background and the players have to try to figure out who committed the murder, what the motive was, where it occurred, etc. it is a captivating mystery game for those who are looking for a twist in the regular games. There are many versions of An Evening of Murder.
4. Top Secret Spies is also a fun game to play. You try to score points to win and the cool thing about this game is that not only can you move yourself, but you can also move the other players. You just have to be sneaky!
5. The final game I would suggest for children is Harry Potter Mystery at Hogwarts. This is a great game and my nephew loves it! It is something the whole family can get into. It is kind of like clue in that you try to figure out who cast what spell where.
So if you are looking for a mystery board game, whether for a child or an adult, there is sure to be something on this Top Five List for everyone.
