THE REALITY OF ETERNITY

The watchful, the vigilant, the sober minded and in a nutshell the believers ie those serving the Lord in spirit and in truth are not busy comparing scriptures. The signs of the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, are vividly here on the roads, heard in an undiluted form from the radio and television broadcasting networks .

The coming of our Lord Jesus is equally being beamed through the disturbing comportment of women or rather" modern women",who have purposed in their hearts to lead silly men to sin and to eternity without Christ, which is hell and other roles the modern woman is playing to bring humanity down to hell.

The menfolk are not innocent of this grand design to ridicule the word of God. The destruction of lives and properties through global terrorism, wars, rumours of wars and others as well global political unrest, all occurring in quick successions, confirms that rapture is too close for comfort.

Vigilant and sober believers should not lose sight of the pestilences here and there, the bird flus and the mad cows events roaming the farms in many countries at will, the technological advancements,wonderful Internet, and the demonic nuclear war heads probing the skies for whom it may concern.The arrival of new currencies like Euro and the near dethronement of the hydra headed Dollar, the globalisation and of politics vis a vis the coming together of the unfriendly blocks to form a common front, and a host of events, which all trumpet the end times and the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Still arguing over eternity ? Search the scriptures. When we search the scriptures, we find in them evidences of rapture and eternity. Enoch and Elijah went to eternity never experiencing the horrible stings of death, they were, in other words, translated..[Genesis 5:21-26].& 2 kings 2;1-15 *there respective translations were open to all and a shadow of the eternity all are expecting..Mathew 11;25. Though stoned to death,brother Stephen was was equally caught away in the vision for eternity. While the believers were weeping and crying for the brutal death of Stephen,God opened his eyes to this much talked bout eternity and he went his way rejoicing. 1 Thess 4;15-18, Acts 8;39-42 ]. While still ruminating on great event, the events at Sodom and Gomorrah and Noah's ark further illustrates the ability of the creator to unleash divine judgement on earth. That God that destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, after countless warnings, is still the consuming fire, warning us today Genesis 19;24, Hebrew 12;29, 10;31.

In other words, Christ died and rose from death on the third day, to confirm the resurrection of the dead 1 Thess 4;14, 1 Corinthians 15;20-23 .Lazarus temporarily rose from death to further confirm God's supremacy over death John 11;43-44.2Kings 4M20-37. The Shunamite woman's son,the miracle of the resurrection of the gentiles' son [ The woman at Zarephat and Elijah 1 Kings 17;17-24, John 11;43..44. The decay and growth of seeds, 1Corinthians 15,;34-44, the dry bones and the decree and prophecy of Ezekiel.. Ezekiel 37:1-10.

Finally the release of the saints from the chains of Satan, when Christ went down to the gates of hell was a further prove that this great event is not a mere wishful thinking of the over zealous Christian.

Jesus Christ confirmed the end time and it's attendant events and eventual eternity, while ministering on earth..see [Mathew 25, 1;-15, Rev 19;2,] Ephesians 5;23-32, Hebrew 10;25. Eternity is therefore real and two edged..one on the right hand side of Christ and the other on the left, one unto light the other unto gnashing of teeth,one for life that never ends again, the other to darkness where wickedness is continued.
