I lay here cold and lonely,
My heart is on the floor.
It lays there where you left it,
When you walked right out the door.
I hear it, still beating.
It's still alive and strong.
All I need is you to save it.
Before this ends up wrong.
You are the only one that can save me.
My heart is where you are.
Please come back to me.
Please don't go too far.
If home is where the heart is,
My home is where you are.
My heart is always with you.
No matter where you are.

It lays there where you left it,
When you walked right out the door.

so deep and afraid of pain
Reality now your keeper
I feel
