Agility is one of the most useful skills incorporated in Runescape. However there is a flip side to this usefulness, agility is also one of the hardest skills to train. Long and tedious hours are required if you want to successfully train this skill. You must also have the ability to not get bored after hours of the same repetitive clicking.
Agility by itself is probably one of the worst money making skills out there. However if you combine it with another skill the profits become amazing. For example, you need 70 agility to contort you body through the pipe in Traverly dungeon to get to the Blue dragons. If you can do this and then kill the dragons fast enough it is very easy to make upwards of 500-700k per hour. Agility also allows you to run much longer; this is useful if you are getting chased down by revenants/pkers. Finally agility is regarded as a hard skill to get to 99, so it is quite fun showing off that awesome cape.
To start you will probably want to complete the Temple of Ikov quest as this quest gives boots of lightness which lower your weight by 5kg. The lighter you weigh, the longer you run, this is quite nice in a skill such as agility as you will have to be able to run for long distances.
From levels 1-35 the best way to raise your level would be at the Gnome Stronghold course.
At level 35 move on to the Barbarian Assault agility course, bring along some food, cakes are probably the best as they are cheap and heal 12 hp each.
At level 40 it would be wise to switch to the Brimhaven agility course, this is where you will get tons of xp. Continue training with this course until you reach level 52. Don't use a ticket every time you get one. Save up until you get a hundred of them or so because the more tickets at a time you turn in you get an experience boost.
Head off to deep the wilderness at level 52 and train at the Wilderness agility course. Watch out for Revenants!
Congratulations! You've gotten to level 75 in Agility, which is quite a feat by itself. If you still want to keep training this skill your best bet would be the Ape Atoll Agility course until level 85.
At levels 85-90 you should be able to complete the EXTENDED Gnome Stronghold agility course, do this until level 90 where you can switch to the EXTENDED Barbarian Assault course. Finally after hours and hours of running through the courses you should be able to get that beautiful Agility skill cape!
