So you want to know how to catch the attention of the opposite sex? There are some ways that you can attract the opposite sex, and with some practice you can really learn how to get the opposite sex to like you. Whether you are a girl going after a guy, or a guy going after a girl, the principles to getting someone to notice you are the same more or less.

The first thing that you want to do is to exude confidence. Nothing is more important in attracting someone than being confident. It means that you believe in yourself, and that you are going to value what you bring to the table. You believe in something, and you have a personality to boot. This also effects how you carry yourself around people, and this goes a long toward attracting someone.

Live your life and don't worry about finding someone. If you are a good person, you won't have to try to find someone. Sure, you might be targeting someone particular, but you won't necessarily have to. Out of the blue someone is going to come up to you because they have spotted you out some night. This is how you really want to play the game.

Always dress well, or at least don't look like a slob. People are going to look at you and see if you are the kind of person who values what you look like or not. Do you have a clean look, or do you just roll out of bed in the morning and not shower? You don't have to always look your best, and shouldn't act as if you are being judged, but if you are looking for people, you should look as good as you can.

Trust that you have the goods to get what you want. This is similar to having confidence, but even the most confident people don't make the best choices. You just have to trust what you see, and if you want something you should go after it, you shouldn't always let people come to you. This can result in missed chances for you.

If you are looking for someone of the opposite sex, you have to take chances. Love isn't even up, you gotta make you own breaks as the Bon Jovi song says. If you are looking for someone tonight, you should dress your best, be confident in yourself, and just do what you gotta do to have fun. Whatever happens after that will sort itself out.
