Getting off the phone.. The tone of your voice fails to explain how you really feel. There's something behind those deep blue eyes that needs to be said, but awkward silence curtains away whats meant to be told. Some how I already know. Getting off the phone.... Like putting everything on hold until we speak again- the winding, psychotic essence of life, is almost completely simmered when i hear you say " I love you." ...Because it's the closest thing we have to magic. Getting off the phone.... Are you thinking the same thoughts that travel through my mind, or are you feeling completely different? Paint me a picture with only the colors you've displayed through voice, then turn the paper over and start fresh with every color, you can imagine. Getting off the phone.... The difference is almost what makes us the same. The unexplainable feeling of trust. Looking at love through the eyes of each other. There's nothing that compares to the insane beat of our hearts, when they sync together in rhythm. Thats getting off the phone. Waiting until next time. Every second of everyday. Writing new chapters in our lives, and knowing deep inside, that the last page of this ever changing story will be about how we will love eachother... even when we cant speak any more.
