A girls guide to moving back to the parents

It is not easy moving back in with your parents, but sometimes a woman has to put their pride on the back burner and accept the fact that it's time to move back home with the parents. The reasons for a woman moving back in with the parents could be caused by many things such as, Money problems, loss of job, divorce, illness or maybe she's lost her home by fire or damage.

The transition will be somewhat hard. However, your parents love you and don't want to see you out on the streets. They're are certain rules you must follow by, those rules were most likely the same rules you had to follow when you lived with mom and dad, when you were a kid. You should pitch in around the house doing chores, volunteer to do whatever chores your parents want you to do.

If you have children who has moved in your parents home with you, make sure they also do their chores and respect their grandparents. Respect your parents home by not inviting strangers into it without them knowing who they are, so that they will remain feeling secure in their home. Don't play any loud music or have your television's volume up too loud and understand that your parents space and privacy is important to them. Let your parents know how long it will take for you to get your finances in order so that you can move out again. Don't take advantage of your parents being a leech or free loader and feel you're justified for doing it because they're your parents and they shouldn't have any complaints.

If you do happen to have a job and money is not a problem, don't forget to offer to help out with the electric, phone or other utilities and rent. Make sure you also purchase groceries or any other items you use in your parents home, unless they don't mind because they figure they're helping you out. However, some things you should insist on doing for your parents out of gratitude.

Another thing to do is never disrespect your parents home by getting drunk, doing drugs or having any wild parties and don't invite guys over without your parents permission. If you remember that your parents are still your parents, know that most of their rules are still the same as when you were a child living with them.
