What's been done will always be
There's no return of tears to their source
We make our decisions based on what we see
And blindly still we take our course

But I know that you will always care
Even though I may not always see
There are times that life will not be fair
But I must remember your hope for me

I've been wrong to think this way
I should have placed my trust in you
And its a shame that I was led astray
And now I must atone and begin anew

Many were the times we shared before
Not once did I want to believe
That these times will be no more
But life goes on whether or not we grieve

But we can still have each other true
Though we may be drawn apart
But our lives will be genuine through
If we but love on our own part

It is the biggest pain for me
If I have to have to let you go
But it seems that this is what has to be
And so my heart will take this blow

But please spare such a time my friend
that you will think and remember me
So that there will never be an end
And so that we will truly be free
