My hands have been so much colder than this before
Fingers numbed by more frigid air
Colder winds have blown across my skin
Through the cracks and crevices, the details and divots
A shiver that moves past the bones
Thickens blood and freezes nerves, colder
Blistering breezes, pelting, iced rain
Traveled about my face and forehead
Felt from temple to toe
The coldest is colder yet
And the best of the frozen has yet to come
To arrive, be seen, known and felt
The most frigid has yet to come
To meet the warmth of flesh
And to freeze, be frozen
In place, time, and movement
To be still, and stiller yet
The coldest is yet to come
Yet to come

Poetry: Weather
The first snow of the season:
It glows white, clean and bright.
I crunch and squash
in the slosh,
jumping
First Storm In The Canyon
When cross and laden gray clouds sit
About your holy rim
The sound of every living
by tOuCh
Elemental Battle
Rolling sounds of thunderous clouds
In the distance rain showers dance
Swirling clouds defeat blue sky
Music to My Ears
I can hear the raindrops
as they hit the roof.
When I hear the rhythm slowly become clear,
Like a drum beating
Wind is ferocious and frigid,
birds like rockets take flight
the temperature gauge plummets
and I'm shivering in bed tonight.
