How grand the wingspan of a eagle in flight,
majestically reaching upon great new heights.
Nearby and perched high, never batting an eye,
an owl vigilantly watches as the night passes by.
In their cries for peace, the doves will truly abide,
in harmonious banter echoing along the countryside.
At the rainbow's end, bluebirds chirp of happy thoughts,
while flitting past plentiful patches of forget-me-nots.
Don't forget the sweet and petite, the hummingbird, indeed,
a speed of light performance on sweet nectar as its feed.
Melodious sounds to fill the air, the lark is in full voice,
warbling joy from the heart make all inspired to rejoice.
Forget not God's creatures, the sparrows and the wrens,
small too in size, to our surprise, soars mighty midst the glens.
How striking it must be, to take flight with spirits set free,
never look back, only setting sights on what could only be.
