Big hair with tons and tons of volume is a look that many women desire, it exudes confidence and makes them feel like a new person! Who wouldn't want big bouncy beautiful hair? And we're not talking the horrible crunchy mops of the 1980's and 90's, we're talking big but sleek hair without the help of a fowl from the 60's. Here are some good ways to give your hair that extra boost.

Using Volume Shampoos -

This is something that can really benefit you, but depends on your hair type usually. Some volume shampoos aren't so great for their price while others can definitely benefit you greatly. Pantene's long and thick shampoo and conditioner line is not only for thin hair getting a thicker boost, it can be for any hair type wanting their straights to be more full and luscious. Definitely try out a brand of volume shampoo before anything else, just to see if it works for you, if it does, you can even add more to it with other products!

Use Root Lifting Products -

These can help out dramatically, especially since volume all starts at the crown of your head in the root area. Use volumizing tonics and holding creams to lift your roots a bit, then blow dry them evenly. You should even turn your head upside and put the cream at the top of your head in the back, rubbing it in and blow drying it. Turn yourself back up and your hair should be quite poofy! When that happens you need to brush it down a bit, and it should look in tip top volumed condition.

Try Back Brushing Techniques -

Do not overly tease your hair at all times, this can cause your hair to break easily and thin out, which is going backwards for what you actually wanted! Back brush, by using a big bristled brush and matt just a small amount of your hair, usually around the roots and spray it. This will keep your hair at a volume that won't back down, even during a windy day.

You can also use your just some hair spray and your blow dryer for a bigger look! If you have a cool dry option on your blow dryer, this comes greatly in handy! Once you spray your roots, turn it on the cool setting, this will set your hair in the right place without worrying about re doing it later. Everyone can achieve a type of volume, even if their hair is baby fine. All of these techniques are the most beneficial when it comes to getting a huge style!
