Poetry: Love & darkness

by Dylan Gilman

Created on: October 20, 2009

Listen closely
I do not judge you
but I can see you
and I most certainly
know you

Underneath it all
you are very small
and if you hurt her
so help me
I can see you
I know you

and I can make things
very interesting
for you

In your heart
and in your mind
Investigate
because you are
so easy to find

Sorted like a book
ranked by author
I have worked
for dark water

If i want to
I can hide you
dusty corner

cold cold cold

Don't you dare
even think
to harm her

I let her go
so she can be

free

You are only human
but i am
the librarian

Do not test me.
