Remembering the days of love
The holding of your hand
The meaning of the words in love
Were quick to understand.
.
Laughter was of plenty.
Searching was no more.
Knowing you were everything.
I was looking for.
.
Then the moments came when
It all turned to routine
Questioning my love for you
Were you still wanting me?
.
A house a home a family.
Years building memories
Now I feel so trapped within.
Wanting to be free.
.
Her children are now stable.
Her home a dream come true.
Unfortunatly the misery.
Is in there somewhere too.
.
Should she keep stability
Without a love that's true
Should she take that final step
To make TRUE love come true.

Poetry: Being trapped
by Terrence Aym
The Box
Trapped in this box,
With a wheelless car.
Trapped in this box,
With a shattered star.
Trapped in this box,
It seems awfully
TRAPPED
Something is here,
inside me screaming,
its been awakened,
a hungry demon.
Realizing how alone it can be,
never
I thought you should know
That I don't know where to go
My heart is torn in two
And no, it's not because of you
I'm trapped
When we were together, I felt like I was trapped
I worked so hard to hide it, all my strength was sapped
Slowly, I felt myself
Under the ice
the water is so cold it burns
with illusory warmth.
Under the ice
I have become mere flotsam,
caught and held
