Sad reflection
She looked into the mirror.
Disgust with what she saw.
Starred long and hard she pondered.
"Where did I go wrong?"
.
Middle age. In her forty's.
Tears filled her eyes again.
Sadness in her eyes revealed.
The emptiness within.

Wondering... where is the life?
The ones her dreams revealed.
What happened to the good times.
True happiness concealed.
.
From the mirror it's sad to see.
The woman she's become.
Spends the next few moments.
Crying "Oh what have I done"
.
She walked away in deep thought.
Her life a sad, sad song
"My life half lived." she whispered.

Or perhaps you can see
