How to sort a playlist on your iPod

Do you have particular soothing songs you listen to when going to sleep? Or inspirational songs for moments where you just need them? Since a person listens to a particular type of song when in a particular mood or place, the iPod has been bestowed us with play lists to sort organize sound tracks and music into any order we wish. So now we start making many many play lists, and we ultimately have dozens. But wait, what to do when we want to actually sort these play lists? If a person wishes to sort all songs alphabetically as they are done on the music screen automatically, most get stuck in a rut, and are confused, though it is quite a simple process.

First, open your iTunes software, and click on the play list that you would like to sort. You can now see all the songs that have been added to that play list, and see their corresponding album, artist, and in some cases album art. Now that we have opened the play list we want to sort, select the type of sorting. This includes sorting according to artist, genre, song name, and album etc. Once you click on any one of these tabs, the music will be sorted according to that tab, clicking twice will make it sort in descending order, and click three times will make it turn back to the original problem. Now that you have done this, simply put your cursor over the play lists name in the left hand side menu, and right click it (click for MacIntosh users) and select "Copy to play order".

Now connect your iPod, and wait for the sync to be completed. Make sure you have selected the play list sync too. Now disconnect your iPod and, using the scroll wheel, navigate to play lists. Hopefully you will now see your music sorted in the play list exactly the way it was sorted in iTunes. You have now successful sorted a play list onto your iPod, and now can listen with ease to all your songs, as the sorting allows you to find songs much faster, as you can search alphabetically, instead of having to navigate through hundreds of songs. Also, I must mention and urge people, that downloading music without paying for it is a crime, and buying pirated CD's is also illegal in many countries around the world.
