A YouTube video taken with a cell phone at a live concert can be a much better version than the song that was on their CD. Why not enjoy the video version on your iPod just the same as the processed version the band released on a CD. IPods are made for video now, and YouTube is filled with every type video imaginable. How do you accomplish putting a YouTube video onto an IPod? After some trial and error, here are a few of the best ways found to accomplish musical freedom through pirated concert videos! To be more specific, this will show you exactly how to put any YouTube video on your IPod!
First, go to the YouTube video that you want to put on your iPod and copy the URL. The URL is located directly to the right of the video in a gray box. Highlight the URL and press CTRL+C. Now go to a website www.vixy.net and paste the URL into the text box and choose Mp4 for IPod and PSP. Press start and it will ask you if you would like to download the video. Choose yes and save it anyplace that you prefer.
Open ITunes and press import. Select your file and import it into your library. It will load into ITunes into the movies section. Sync your IPod and you are all set. This has been a great way to enjoy different versions of songs I already have, and I find myself listening to them often. It is so easy, and I was able to do multiple videos in just about 10-15 minutes. For a YouTube instruction, here is a link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhneghBUkTA&feature=related
Another option is to Google "Real", and to select the first result. Download the latest version of "Realplayer". The Realplayer SP is the current version and the download button is easy to find at http://www.real.com . Go back to YouTube and go to the video that you are looking to download. There will be a small box right above the video from Realplayer that has a download selection. Press Download.
Go back to the main menu on the Realplayer and select the covert button. Use the converter from DVDvideosoft.com and select the file that you downloaded and where you want it to be saved. Select the iPod option at the bottom of the screen in the drop box. Once the selection is converted, import it into ITunes. Both of these options will put YouTube videos on an IPod. It works just as well with television shows, and movie clips. Downloading a video version of a song is sometimes easier than actually searching "share" sites for music. Doing it this way also gives the added bonus of video. Don't spend all of that money buying television shows, and songs off of ITunes. Find them in YouTube and put them right on that IPod!
