Reasons why people get fired

There can be a number of reasons why people get fired. Generally, firings only happen when some rules or regulations are not being followed. Rarely does it occur that someone is fired out of corporate bias. In such cases the employee has legal recourse against his employer for wrongful dismissal. Very seldom does an employee get fired for not fully understanding what is expected of him. Honest mistakes are tolerated, but not repeated deliberate attempts.

Every company sets out certain rules that must be followed for proper functioning of the business. Each employee is an important member of the company and is expected to live up to those rules. Tardiness: Being consistently late for work, extending lunch and coffee breaks indicates the employer has little interest in the company and his job. While many businesses do tolerate some tardiness, they have limits. Being consistently late impacts on the other employees who must take up the slack of the missing employee.

Lack of Responsibility: That means meeting the deadlines set for projects. Employees are
