Poetry: Passion

by Matthew Bellomy

Created on: February 13, 2007   Last Updated: May 14, 2007

A forsaken love has taken course
Two has become one
Just as the mother of this earth
Had planned it

Her lips taste of wine
Just imported from the viniard
Her body
Lovely as the sight
Of the Summerland itself
And her smile
Is the reflection
Of a pearl
Fresh out of the shell of the clam

We comsumate our love
Euphoric, forever shall be
In a world full of fools,
Only our eyes really see
The passion
of our ways
