The idea of beauty that the media conceives is contorted, it isn't real. Anyone can look absolutely beautiful in the skin that they are in
1. Confidence
The right attitude, being confident with oneself can literally make a whole new person shine through. You'll feel great about yourself, and with the way you carry yourself, you'll end up letting a new persona, which others will feel unconsciously. Models carry themselves high and look stunning, so the same principle applies here. Carry yourself with grace and elegance.
2. Personality
Many people overlook this, if you are a kind hearted, caring, giving soul, that will shine through and people will not realise your flaws or imperfections because it does not matter as your personality overrides it completely. Your friends and family love you for being yourself and for being a warm soul and this will make you beautiful as others will also realise that and drink it in, everything else such as your spots or the things you do not like about yourself will disappear.
3. Exercise
Scientifically, it has been proven that exercising releases endorphins into your body, which make you happy, which in turn will make you confident. Exercising will also help you to get in shape, tone your body and you will be much, much healthier. You should incorporate exercise 3 times per week at 30 minute sessions to feel it all. Walking everyday is also a great way to exercise while also relaxing.
4. Water
Drinking 2L of water a day will keep you hydrated (skin's moisture) and keep you healthy. Our bodies are made up mostly of water, so drinking it will replace the lost water that we lose via excretion. Our bodies also replace water every 6 weeks, so we must make sure that we are drinking enough water. Water also gives us a constant energy level throughout the day.
5. Moisture
The skin is our largest organ and needs to be cared for; moisturising every day after a shower/bath will help ensure that it stays moisturised, supple and hydrated for beautiful skin. Our skin will retain its elasticity and will have more youth and vitality to it.
6. Diet
In order for our skin to look its best, we need to feed it a balanced diet which includes fruits and vegetables for our minerals and vitamins. We should also incorporate all the other major food groups into our diet so our skin can strive.
7. Sleep
Getting 8 hours of sleep daily is essential, that it why it is called beauty sleep! Our bodies repair itself when sleeping, so getting the right amount of sleep is crucial.
8. Facial Regime
We also need to care for our faces and supplying your facial regime with great quality products in order to take good care of your skin. A skin care routine consists of cleansing, toning and moisturising morning and night. So make sure that you do!
9. Sunscreen
The sun's rays are very harmful to our skin, so we need to protect it from it, wearing a sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 15 every day even in the winter months will make sure that your skin will look young, fresh and beautiful.
One does not need makeup to look beautiful, scrub your face and bare it to the world showing off just how beautiful you are. The caked look hides imperfection and hides beauty, but baring it all it the optimum of beauty, it is what we were given and what we work hard on looking good, we shouldn't hide it with the makeup.
