Honey and cinnamon combined together have some awesome health benefits. Some of you may scoff at the thought but don't be so quick to judge. There have been studies done at Copenhagen University that show great results when dealing with arthritic patients. In this research they gave arthritis patients a mixture of one cup hot water with two spoons of honey and one small teaspoon of cinnamon powder before breakfast. The results were that after only a week seventy three of the two hundred patients tested were totally relieved of pain. With results like that it is at bare minimum worth trying.
It is said that when you take two tablespoons of honey mixed with three teaspoons of cinnamon powder mixed in sixteen ounces of tea water the cholesterol in the blood will be dropped by ten percent within two hours. As with arthritic patients, if taken three times a day any chronic cholesterol is cured.
Scientists accept honey as a very effective medicine. Honey is produced in most countries around the world. Honey can be used without harmful side effects that prescription medications can have. If taken in the right doses a diabetic can even take honey without any problems. Cinnamon is known for helping to regulate blood sugar. This means that the two natural ingredients together can have a really wonderful healing effect. This makes honey and cinnamon a very safe treatment to cure all kinds of illnesses. There are many doctors that have tested and used honey and cinnamon as well as plenty of research has been done. So why is it that this is not a well known treatment? I am not real sure of that answer myself. It seems that in today's world if it natural, people scoff at it. I myself try out the treatments on myself and those I love. I have had wonderful results with my own tests. I myself have used a honey and cinnamon drink to loose weight. They say that drinking a mixture of honey and cinnamon boiled in water in the morning and before bedtime, fat won't be allowed to accumulate in the body. I do not have a scale to weigh on so I can not tell you how much if any I have lost. What I can tell you is that I have used this treatment for only three days now and my clothes are fitting better. I have not changed anything else with my diet and I have not done any exercise. I realize that three days isn't very long and without knowing the amount lost might not be as reliable. I am not asking you to believe me without hesitation. I simply am telling you my results so far and encourage you to try it out for yourself.
