Creative Halloween costumes have always been on the most wanted list. It might be because people like it when they come up with something quite unique, or simply because it is Halloween, one time in the year that you can simply go crazy, and explore all the weird ideas piled up during the year. The more crazy the idea gets, the more creative your costume will be. Creativity is what gives you the highest points on Halloween. Go creative, invite some friends, and try to come up with something new, something that has never been seen before.
Before you turn your creativity on, here are a couple of suggestions just to get those creative juices flowing. Lady Godiva has presented somewhat of a challenge during the previous Halloween parties, it tends to get fairly cold in October, and just the hair will not keep you warm though. Road Kill is somewhat spooky costume, but then again it is Halloween. All you need are some black clothes, and probably a black mask, or just paint your face black. Get some white tape to recreate the line on the road that is now your body. Next, find some old cat toy, and somehow pin, or simply glue it to your clothes and just for the effect paint some fake blood on the cat. Once the costume is done, it will most definitely look like a road kill. There are a number of other costumes that you can make using this pattern, like making a costume where you look like a pile of leaves. Just glue as many of the leaves as possible, the effect will bring authenticity. Cereal killer is a costume very similar to the previous two. You need to recreate a huge box of cereals, and just add some fake blood with a couple of fake knives stuck into the box.
Sick and Tired is a great creative costume but you need a partner to pull this one of. One can go as sick, use make up to help you in recreating the proper effect and the other one can come wearing pajamas only, and yawning all the time. Leaf Blower might be one of the easiest costumes to make, you only need a baseball cap to tie the leaf on its edge with a string, so it could sway in front of you. Whenever someone asks you what your costume is all about, just blow at the leaf and say you are a Leaf Blower. A costume similar to the previous one is the CD Burner. All you need are some old CDs, glue them onto your clothes, and when someone inquires about your outfit, simply get your lighter out and you are a CD Burner. Easy but effective. Baby Sitter is a Halloween costume that completely brings forth the meaning of black humor. All you need is to tie a baby doll to your behind, and when you get the question just sit down, and you are a Babysitter in the full meaning of the word.
A Black Cat costume can be creative as well, but only if you make it. You need some tight black clothes and some black material. Use your make up and paint little whiskers, and for the ears you might need a hair band to pin the ears on. A tail is easy to make, get some long and narrow black cloth, sew the sides, but leave one open. In the open side stuff the cloth with small pieces of sponge or some old material, and you are done, just pin the tail to your clothes.
Halloween is the perfect time to let your creativity run wild, and there are virtually no critics on Halloween, whatever you come up with, everyone will consider it a work of art. The freakiest costume will be the most creative.
