It was not until I walked strongly into the funeral parlor to say good bye to my soul mate
that I realized he really was gone taken by a horrible fate. Only a picture and and urn remain.
Some how I expected him to arrive in the flesh at any moment and put my heart at rest.
Maybe this was some cruel test. Taken away at a very young age never to be held in his arms or
laugh with him again. Life had turned the corner in a very dark place. I was in denial and it was as sudden as
his demise that I began to face reality. The mourning of my friend came on swiftly and fierce. Tears began to flow and my knees
grew weak. He is gone. He is gone. He is gone. It will never be the same. I realized there were so many things left unsaid.
My heart beat as if to explode. It was surreal and erie. He was so strong, He left me. He left me. He left me. Why did I not see this coming.
I tried to be strong for you and your family but the pain was so deep and the feelings so severe. I am in mourning. I am in mourning. I am in mourning.
It has been years my soul still cries out and my body trembles. One day our eyes will meet and the sadness will fade away.

Poetry: Mourning
JUST ONE MORE DAY
She freely gave us life and loved us freely and completely.
She sacrificed her life for us.
She wears a mother's
Dearest mom and little brother,
we hold your spirit close.
We lost you that night,
but will never let go.
A tragedy it seems
By the sun that lifts the shroud
And the night as it soothes the land
Man is indeed in boasting loud
Night and day, up
by Jane Prinsep
Nestled delicately in his caring hands
Every movement, expression; cherished
Muddled months of worried bonding
Self-taught
My Bleeding Heart......
I'd thought you'd be here forever
I never thought you'd depart
Now two lonely hands
Hold my bleeding
