Long-distance love requires a very strong bound between each other and the greatest test which love can have for surviving. Celebrating Valentine's Day with your long distance love is perfect possible but requires confidence between both lovers and inspiration from both of you to find some original ideas.

There are several reasons why you can't be together on this special day. Maybe your love is for some months abroad for his work or you know each other through the modern communications like the Internet and your love live in a country far from yours.

There are possibilities enough for showing your love to your long distance lover while you can't be together. It is not a matter of spending much money but finding a romantic idea which express your real love. Some suggestions are :

THE ELECTRONIC GIFT
An e-card with two red hearts and the message "I will be always yours" is a good start for celebrating this special day with your long distance lover. The Internet offers enough different sites where you can find your choice to surprise your lover. Some e-cards include some romantic music; try to find one with a romantic music that he or she likes.

A CITY TRIP
Long distance lovers live in a different country and in this case a city trip can be a good idea if your budget allows. This can be in a different country than both of you live but inviting your love at home is also a good idea. If you invite your love this year, probably next year will happen the contrary. Both lovers will enjoy one travel abroad in one of these two years.

BREAKFAST ON BED
You can order online a breakfast on bed in the city of your love. The surprise will be great because it is something unexpected. Don't forget to send red flowers on this day; red is the color of love and represent how deep your love is. Use your imagination and make a decoration with two red hearts: two loving hearts.

CHATTING
Organize a chatting on Valentine's Day with your long-distance love. This make Valentine's Day very special for both of you. If you have both a webcam and a microphone a voice chatting will be a nice surprise. It looks if you are together during this chatting.

AN ORIGINAL PHONE CALL
Surprise your love with the organization of a phone call with a romantic song in the morning but don't forget the words "I love you" or "I will be always yours".

OTHER GIFTS
Some original ideas can easily be sent in a "love package". Include some sweets like chocolate or candy hearts, a romantic CD or DVD, a picture frame with a picture of you both which your love has never seen before and maybe you can write a nice poem for your love.

The distance can't be a barrier to forget celebrating Valentine's Day. Keep in mind on this special day that you need to show your love every day, no matter how far you live from each other.
