On Broad Street the girls walk by
Pretty, in blue dresses
With lights flashing: Go Now You.
Pretty-saunter high heels thin-strapped
And the cop says,
What are you doing?
Turn it up then, back of my pocket

A song plays soft and spring-time messy sweet.
You walk home drunk in the rain
Wondering if you'll see her again.
