I would think that the question would be not "Did Jesus mention homosexuality," but rather, "What did Jesus think about homosexuality?" Since the only reason for this question is to find out whether or not God/Jesus thinks gays are sinners, or just people trying to live their lives as best they can, as God made them.
When did Jesus live... two thousand years ago? And were there homosexuals then? There must have been, otherwise God, whenever it was that he spoke in Leviticus, wouldn't have found it necessary to say, "Don't lie with a man as you would a woman." Obviously he had to say that because there were gays at that time... (just as there were people who coveted neighbors wives, didn't respect their parents, ya da, ya da.
Indeed, I can envisage some father coming home from work one day to find his son in bed with a neighbor's son, and his wife in bed with the neighbor, and saying to himself, "Jesus, this has to stop. I'm going to write it into law! Hallalulah, Lord!"
If you read the Old Testament, doesn't it seem a bit odd that God creates all the people of the Earth, then decides that the Jews are his "chosen people," thereby setting them up against every other people he's created. Does that make any sense at all? In any event, all the laws and stuff God is giving to the Jews...he's just giving them to the Jews, isn't he. Indeed, he specifies several times, "Isrealites and aliens living among you." Aliens being people who aren't Isrealites, obviously.
Now, in Levitius 18:22 or whatever it was, he does *not* specify Isrealites and aliens. He just says, "Don't lie with a man as with a woman." If he doesn't specificy aliens, that must mean he's only talking about Jews, eh? It's only male Jews who are forbidden to lie with other men. Non-Jews can do what they want.
What I want to know, pace Leviticus, is when did God say, "Okay, now it's time for you to stop sacrificing oxen, sheep and goats to me." Is there such a place? Otherwise, they'd better get back to doing that sacrificing, eh? No wonder's God's been upset with them for 4,000 years...
Anyone interested in religion should really read up on the history of the Bible...how it was cobbled together in 400 AD or so by various churchmen... you think they didn't rewrite a few things to represent their world view?
