HOW MUCH LOVE DOES IT TAKE

How much love does it take to prove your love is sincere?

What does it take to show you year after year?

He came int this world and grew to be a man.

He was a teacher that taught love was the way of his fathers' plan.

He was feared and hated by his own.

But asked that forgiveness to be shown.

They scurged his back with whips.

Water with bitters they poured on his lips.

A crown of thorns made him bleed.

He still prayed forgiveness is what they need.

A heavy cross he carried through the city.

They beat him with whips and took no pity.

They drove spikes through his hands and feet.

Still he asked for forgiveness as his body became weak.

As he hung on the cross in pain.

You still hear him exclaim.

"Father forgive them." through his tears.

That's a cry that has been heard for over two thousand years.

How much love does it take?

Ask Jesus.
