Some people find it hard to believe that have been subjected to propaganda and brainwashing all of their lives and that nothing is quite what we are told it is.
As a person who was born in Englandshortly after WWII of a German born mother and an English born father, I have had many instances where what society, and the people around me, believe, is not actually true. My maternal grandfather died in a German Concentration Camp in 1941, and both he and my grandmother had been made stateless in the mid 1930s, because he was a lay preacher of a less known Christian group, and he had a small group of people from his village who met in house because they hadn't a church of their own. At the time, there were rules against congretating in unauthorised groups. He was put in prison on a false charge, moved from prison to prison, and finally died in Sachsenhausen. My mother met my father after the war and came to England to marry because he was not allowed to do so in Germany. My mother was often treated abysmally because so many people saw her German birth classing her as an enemy. Yet when she married she lost her German nationality and was only able to be a British citizen. Because of this, I too have no legal right to become a German citizen. Despite this I was denied certain jobs because one of my parents was not born in this country, and I was called a Nazi at school.
Even now it is impossible to persuade people that things are not quite as the official line states.
Because of this, and other situations where I have found things to be different to what was originally stated, I have taken a keener look at the way information is relayed to the public. So often reports will say "may be dangerous", or "could result in". Statements such as these mean the reports are pure speculation, but the way these reports are portrayed implies they are fact, and people remember the points raised as facts.
The more readily you accept that it is possible for some horrendous events to actually be due to shinnanigans of the people who are supposed to be protecting us, the easier it is to see how things may have occurred differently. But it requires a change of mindset, as well as the ability to think for ourselves. Today, too often we are being dumbed down in our thinking processes, and soon we won't even be as good as robots!
I do believe Pearl Harbour and World Trade Centre were created by the same sort of people to encourage us to wage war on others, even when it is not in our interests to do so.
I also believe that 7/7 in London was of the same ilk, and I also believe the same people were behind the increase in security rules at UK airports. Not everyone can believe this. My mother, God bless her, died last November but when I suggested that the people behind the government had been instigating such atrocities she refused to believe it. She said, "If that is true, then there is no reason in my living". Her health was poor, so her death was natural causes, but I am glad she is no longer around to learn the truth. She would have felt despair.
This whole scenario has left me unable to trust those in authority. Suspicion is not a good attitude to have. I would love to go back to innocence. They say ignorance is bliss, and I know what they mean, but so should peace be bliss, and at the moment, it definitely is not, with the War on Terror actually being the War on Terra!
