A woman got upset at her scale for it implying that she was huge: When she got on the scale it kindly said, One at a time, please.
The common misnomer out there is that you have to be as big as Free Willy before you have to start to worry about heart disease. That is why most people don't take it seriously until the doctor gives them the bad news.
It forms the leading cause of death in the United States it is even more common than cancer. Healthbeings.com reports an estimated one fifth of all deaths in America come because of coronary heart disease. Ignoring your heart could lead to serious health issues and an early funeral.
Heart disease constricts or completely stops the blood flow to the heart by fatty material that lines the coronary arteries called plaque. Plaque consists of the everyday junk food we consume which is in high cholesterol foods like fried foods, junk foods and sodas.
It stops that part of the heart from getting oxygen rich blood that in turn causes that part of the heart to die.
Although there are many types of heart diseases such as congenital, atrail, heart valve, etc, we know that the most common one called Coronary artery disease is the deadliest. When you're walking down the street and all a sudden you're looking whiter than the whitest white man, feeling euphoric with no heart beat, and your life is being reviewed before your eyes for some reason, you know you're pretty much "dead man walking".
At this point, it's kind of too late to check out Prevention magazine's top ten tips for maintaining a stronger and healthier heart. You've just become another statistic of the more than 13 million people a year that unfortunately "kick the can" because of it.
Come on, all you potential heart disease candidates out there, you're better than that.
SYMPTONS
When it feels like an elephant is sitting on your chest, you might be in danger of this type of heart attack. It's the actual pain of the deprived heart muscle that warns you you're in big trouble, also called atherosclerosis. If you walk a few steps upstairs into the next room and you notice your bending over panting as if you just climbed Mount Everest, you could be in danger of being another statistic.
Other symptoms may be but not limited to nausea, shortness of breath, weakness, dizziness, and sweating for no reason at all. These symptoms can hit all of a sudden or be something that you have just delt with for months or even years. Sweeping these symptoms under the rug is a serious mistake.
