This year why not make Halloween a complete family event and let your dogs in on the fun? Now it may not be too much fun for the dog involved but it will probably forget in a few months anyway. The best way to decide what your dog is going to be for Halloween is making sure you find something simple that they won't just tear off in five minutes. Here are some great ideas that will make everyone who sees your dog this year laugh:
Yoda Dog- The galaxy will not have anything to worry about with Yoda dog guiding the young Luke Skywalker. It is a great idea to make your dog one of the powerful leaders of the Jedi. Better make sure your dog is on the calm side though because he could make dog food out of this costume quickly.
Big Pimp Daddy Dog Suit- So you want your dog to be getting all the looks from the girl dogs? Look no further than a pimp daddy dog suit. A purple hat and purple coat with a furry collar, genius. The best thing about this costume is that it doesn't require going over your dog's feet and annoying him.
Sheep Dog- Why not turn your dog into another animal? The sheep dog costume is good for short haired dogs and gives them a chance to finally have some fluffy fur. You could also get creative and make a group costume by having someone be a shepherd, wolf, and even a dog to chase the sheep.
Groom and Bride- This is a great idea if you have two dogs and want them to finally say I do. A little doggy dress and tuxedo is all you need and your doggy wedding is complete. If you only have one dog maybe you could dress up as the bride or groom to complete the couple.
Superdog- A classic get up for doggy costumes is the Superdog! There are many other super hero costumes for dogs as well such as: The Caped Crusader Batdog, the web slinging Spiderdog, and even the beautiful Wonderdog. Kids will love seeing there pets run around the house as their favorite superheros.
No matter what you decide to dress your dog up for Halloween it will definitely be a friends and family hit. Remember that the dogs aren't having as much fun as you are and you may not want to leave them dressed up all night. A few pictures and laughs won't hurt them though and that's all you need to have a great time.
