When you look at me what do you see?
Do you see a scared little girl?
A ugly duck, who knows nothing?
Or is that just me?
I can tell you what I see.
The masks that I wear come off.
I hate to look at me in the mirror.
I hate the person that I see.
I can tell you the masks I wear,
To protect myself from hurt.
What I am truly scared of,
Is that you'll only see dirt.
So please, when you look at me, take in mind.
I am so scared to be,
Unmasked of any kind.
