Happiness is contagious because of the fine print. That's right when you read the Bible you need to read the fine print and make sure that you read very carefully between the lines. When you first enter this world you signed an agreement with God. This agreement has fine print that no one ever reads. In this agreement there is a happiness clause which makes happiness very contagious.
Happiness is a luxury which God wanted each and every one of us to have. God had no intention for us to ever feel lonely and sad; this is why he created Eve, so that Adam would have someone to love and have happiness. God wanted Adam and any of his offspring to be happy; this is because God's whole intention was for us to always have happiness. So in the fine print of life, God put in the happiness contagious clause. God implanted this clause so that we may spread happiness throughout our walk in life.
Happiness is so contagious that can make even the grumpiest of souls smile! This is why simple things, like seeing a newborn baby who is sound asleep and smiling, makes us smile. It does not matter the onlooker's age or troubles, to see this little person asleep and smiling, we are going to smile too. Why, because happiness being contagious is what God wants, he want for us to always have happiness in our hearts, so this contagious clause will cause the smallest smile, the squeakiest of giggles or the hint of laughter can cause a fire to be sparked in the saddest of hearts.
The good thing about this clause is that it works! The simplest things can bring us happiness, like a child at play, the falling of the first snow or the sight of the great snowball fight. It is the simple things like a couple holding hands or a dog playing with her pups that brings warmth to our hearts. This happens because it is Gods plan and even if we don't smile, we will feel a slight hint of happiness in our hearts, because that is the way God wanted us to be. It is called the contagious happiness clause!
Besides the clause being part of the agreement, it is said that God made man in his image. So if this is true then this also means that we must have inherited the happiness gene from him. Happiness had to feel pretty darn good to God for him to want us to have it. God loves us and he wants us to feel that same good feeling and pleasures that he has.
Why is happiness contagious? Good old fashion fine print!
