The internet has simplified so many things over the years and finding a Halloween costume is definitely one of them. From children's costumes, to downright naughty adult costumes, you can find just about anything on the internet. The key factors to finding a quality costume are originality, eye appeal, and of course price. So here are some websites that seem to get it right when finding the perfect Halloween costume:

The unique aspect of the site is that it does not sell costumes. It just takes people submitted costumes with pictures and how to make them. You can spend hours on this site and find step by step directions on how to make your favorite costumes. They also have votes for best homemade costume and you can see the results. If you have made a unique costume you can also submit it for other people to view.

Halloween Costume Ideas- This site features costumes that are a little higher priced than other websites, but they have many unique group and children ideas. The quality of the costume is also higher which can definitely make the difference in ten dollars. Their 1950's costume section is amazing and has a wide variety from children to adults. If originality and quality are what you are looking for then you should definitely take a look here.

Costume Idea Zone- Another do it yourself website that can save you money. This site is more about opening your closet and not your wallet which is similiar to Coolest Homemade Costumes. The main difference is there aren't as many costumes on this site, which isn't always a bad thing. One costume on the site is based on the Operation game and is a great idea that you normally do not see on Halloweeen. You can also submit ideas to the website.

Costume Cauldron- This website contains a huge amount of decade costumes. You can search through every decade starting with the 20's. The prices are very reasonable and the variety is great. There are some kids costumes on the site but it is mostly directed towards adult costumes and even has a sexy costume section that is like no other.

Pet Halloween Costumes- Now this is a fun site. Even if you do not have a pet you should take a look at some of the pictures on this site. There isn't a wide variety to choose from but some of the funniest ideas do not come in bunches. The prices are reasonable and they even have a section that isn't for Halloween. Your pet may hate you for this but the pictures will always be funny.

Just Kids Costumes- Now most of the sites already listed have kid's section but this website is devoted only to children. If you click the link you will see the Lil' Monkey costume and if it doesn't make you smile something is wrong. With many categories and a wide selection of costumes this is your one stop shop for all your kids. The prices are normal and the originality is great.

There are so many more websites out there to choose from but this list should get you started to finding your perfect costume. Remember to think original, eye appeal, and, of course, price. Sometimes the best ideas come from home and you just need a little help getting started, and sometimes it is just easier to buy your costume.
