TRUE LOVE IS REALLY BLIND

For love be true it must be blind. For love to be blind it means the vessel through which it flows refuses or chooses not to see undesirable features of their object of affection. These seemingly undesirable features include blindness, poverty, not being a member of the high social strata(without fame and fortune), etc. Aside the foregoing, there are certain intrinsic traits that the love deliberately decides to overlook. Such inherent characters include anger, jealousy, introversion.

One who demonstrates or shows true love does so knowing fully well that their object of affection is not a perfect personality;(there is no such thing as a perfect human being) and as such they have got glaring weaknesses that attract disappointment from advocates of idealism. But you still lavish love on them bearing in mind that with the passage of time things will take a turn for the better.

True love is blind to the present condition of its recipient but shows a very strong optimism that by some kind of divine intervention, their lover will undergo some transformation and gradually become the ideal image in your mind's eye.

Love is not true if it cannot love that which is unlovable. True love closes(blinds)its eyes to the unlovable qualities in the lover.

Suffice it to say that love that is given to one on account of what the person has namely:money, fame, affluence, social status, etc, is not true love.
True love is sacrifice. It sacrifices the satisfaction of loving that which is lovable and decides to be blind to the unlovable qualities of another person so that she can love him.True love is blind because it refuses to see threats of death from a rich father who refuses to place a stamp of approval on the relationship of her daughter with a poor guy. The guy goes on to love the girl refusing to see the threat it poses to his life.

True love is blind because it refuses to see threats of being disowned by a father who would not give his blessings to a marriage based on racial or tribal differences.

True love is blind because it refuses to see the intimidation of a rival who is competing for the same object of love.
