Are you planning on taking a trip to a great destination? Are you a grandparent looking for ideas for a great vacation to take with your grandchildren? Are you someone who has the desire to travel with your grandparents? You are in luck. A great destination to travel to is the Bahamas. By reading this article, you will learn why you should consider taking a cruise to the Bahamas and how it can be enjoyable for people of all ages.

The Bahamas is a fantastic place to travel to and taking a cruise can give you plenty of delight. In 1985, my brother, grandmother and I took a weeklong cruise to the Bahamas. We flew to Miami, Florida to get onto the cruise ship. This trip has been the best experience of my life. The Bahamas is a warm, beautiful land that has great tourist shops.

Riding on the cruise ship was also a wonderful experience. We slept in a cabin that provided a view of the ocean. The boat was large and provided plenty of space for taking a walk. Food was provided throughout the day and there was always a buffet display at midnight. The meals were delicious.

Some of the food I ate included steak, duck and eggplant. One of the special events that were held was a dinner for the captain of the ship. Taking a cruise can also give you a great opportunity to make new friends. My brother met some people his age who exchanged their addresses with him. He wrote a letter to them after we came home.

A great cruise line you can travel on to the Bahamas is Carnival. Carnival gives you the option of taking a cruise that lasts for a period of three to six days. The price for a three-day cruise is in the range of 169 dollars to 269 dollars, the price for a four-day cruise is in the range of 259 dollars to 369 dollars and the price for a six-day cruise is in the range of 399 dollars to 579 dollars. You may book a cruise with Carnival on its web site or talk with a travel agent.

There are plenty of things for families to do on the ship. The activities include a waterworks playground, a spa, a gorgeous lounge, a swimming pool and a nine-hole golf course. Youth activities include camps, video games and parties.

You have learned how taking a cruise to the Bahamas can be a great experience for grandkids and grandparents to share.
