My eyes itch
like burning applesauce
Cat hair
in my coffee
Tattooed
like a biker on steroids
but no one sits still during the movie
all I wanted was a kiss from you
a sweet and gentle kiss
I did not expect
the baseball bat
the broken nose
the hours and the pain
all day I sat on the curb
Listening
to the cars argue
bleeding freely
on my shoes
blocks away
you were likely laughing
Her dress showed more
than expected
the breasts over flowed
all I wanted was a kiss from you
and you went and broke my nose
no one stops to ask
my seat is wet from the grass
the garbage sauce
Drooling
and the stink is overwhelming
the traffic hollers and roars
the pressure
within my head
all I wanted was a kiss from you
but now
I wish I were dead

Tied with anger, pain, and tears,
a product of all our worst fears.
