Any one can lose weight if they truly want to, it's having the will power and determination behind the motivation. You get fed up with always struggling with your weight and counting calories is not what you want to do with the rest of your life. There are so many diets out there and everyone has their own theory and ideas on how to do it. What might work for someone might not work for others. Every one's metabolism is different, so you have to figure out how your body reacts with the foods you eat.
There is an underlying cause why people eat and many times it is a compulsive disorder. You eat when your depressed, when you are happy, you eat just because it tastes good. Now days we do not eat because we are hungry. Most of us eat because it is time to eat. These reasons can lead to unwanted pounds and the habit is almost impossible to break. By the time you figure out what works your body is so out of shape it's almost too late to get your shape back.
If you are a compulsive eater and have a depression problem you may want to try going to a physician to get yourself tested for either ADHD or ADD. If you're ADHD your physician can prescribe Adderal or Concerta to help with focus and attention. This medication to can also help control your appetite. It reduces your appetite, gives you more energy and can help with depression because you have more energy and focus, you can tend to get things done around the house. If your focus is losing wight you will focus more on exercise and watch what you eat .
Once you seek out a physician and get tested you will want to cut out all your carbohydrates and sugars. Do not drink soda, diet soda or soda of any kind. When you drink, drink ice water which will burn up to 70 calories each time you consume 8 oz. Because the ice water lowers the body core temperature and the body has to naturally heat itself back up to maintain room temperature. Therefore, you are burning calories and you don't even realize it. However, some people will be cold all the time because the ice water makes the body temperature lower.
If you are starting out at a heavier weight exercise may be a little more difficult. When you are determine to change your life style, you will have to fit exercise of some sort into your scheduled day. if you can't afford to join a gym, which can be expensive. Try and save up and buy yourself a treadmill. Then there is no excuse for not exercising when your "weight control helper," is in the middle of your living room.
