Anticipation, the innermost desire, wish, dream
That flutters through on the winds of hope
Things that might come true or they might not
Depending on their possibility or their scope
Anticipation of holding what you want in your hands
Of sharing, caring, speaking gentle words into the night
Chasing away deepest fears, and imagining brighter days
Filled with everything you could wish for to make things right
Anticipation, the feeling deep inside your being
That someday, somewhere, without even knowing
A force will bring rainbows, and sunsets, and showers
And with a twist of fate it might even be snowing
Anticipation brings tears, of joy, of sorrow
The unspoken words locked away in your mind
You learn to be quiet, be silent, be still
Anticipation of feelings that you'll never find

I pray to command, the pain to cease.
With the blood that flows down,
I offer you my, crimson crown.

Being here without you seems wrong,
I need you here to make me stronger.
How can
