Does baseball need a salary cap? We all know that everyone is going to think something different about this matter. Well let's say if you owned your own business, would you think that you have millions you should budget your money? I would but if you choose to spend more than you got coming in, than you are going about this the wrong way. I think if you had a salary cap it might put the game in danger again for arbitration has a big thing to do with this game. If the other owners want to spend more on their team then let them. As for we all know that the Yankees are the highest paid franchise in the league but they still did, NT win the championship so why put a salary cap, let the teams pay what they want to their players.
What if you played the game and you were one of the highest paid players in the league and they put a salary cap on and they said we can't afford you anymore, so the choice would be either be get paid less or get traded to another team that could afford to pay you that amount to stay in the league. Or the last thing would be that you would have to retire. How would that make you feel when you have been doing this for years and that's all you know how to do. We don't need a salary cap because if you can't count your money then you need to get out from your franchise and let someone that can handle the business take control.
