through the darkness I walk
This world is silent
almost in shock
I hold my breath
waiting for this darkness to end
these wounds I must mend
Though I made a wrong turn
Somewhere on this path Now I must learn

through creeks
over stone
to find this light
and a place I can call home
but still it eludes me
and I realize now
that what I seek
cannot be found
Instead I must make my own light
In this world with no sound.
