The scars I bear and the pain I feel
Are a constant reminder of the price I paid
The price I paid for loving you
I always will remember the torcher and the shame
And the way you belittled me when I would try to smile
You would hit me, abuse me, and make me feel like a bad child
The scars you gave me will never go away
They are a constant reminder of yesterday
But at least I will live to see another day
You've gone to the devil, and that is the price
You will pay.
There is no turning back, no running away
You made your demise, and chose you own way
So, good bye forever and don't you cry
Because the pain the you are feeling
Won't ever die.

Poetry: Scars
There are marks upon my skin,
Pale reminders of days gone by.
The bleeding was staunched long ago,
But to claim they no longer
These scars that crease my heart
are a gift from your callous part.
The age of innocence has passed away
and only dreams
The scars of my heart run deep
I have never healed from you
you are the reason for my being the reason for me to breath

Others recall the fun and games,

My eyes are closed, I remember the hurt.
The lies are open, but I'll never avert.
You're under my skin, buried deep
