Aartis are hymns sung in praise of God. In Hindu culture any puja is concluded with an aarti. There are different aartis for different occasions. During diwali people worship Ganesh and lakshmi reciting aartis in their praise. The aartis mention below are in Hindi language written in English text as the title demands.
1.Shree ganesh aarti This aarti is sung in praise of Lord Ganesh, son of Shiva and Parvati. Ganesh, the god of wisdom and remover of obstacles is worshipped prior to all auspicious beginning.
Jai ganesha jai ganesha jai ganesha deva
maata jaaki parvati pitaa mahadeva
ladoowan ka bhog lage sant Karen sevaa
ekadant dayavant chaar bhuja dhari
maathe par tilak sohe muse ki sawaari
aandhe ko aankh det kohin ko kaaya
banjhan ko putra det nirdhan ko maaya
ladoowan ka bhog lage sant Karen sevaa
paan chadhe phool chadhe aur chadhe meva
dinan ki laj rakho shambhu sut vari
kamna ko pura karo jag balihari

2.Maa Lakshmi aarti- Laxmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity is worshipped by all on diwali.
Om Jai Laxmi Mata, Maiya JaiLaxmi Mata,
Tumko nis din sevat, Hari, Vishnu Data
Om Jai Laxmi Mata
Uma Rama Brahmaani, Tum ho Jag Mata,
Maiya, Tum ho Jag Mata,
Surya ChandraMa dhyaavat, Naarad Rishi gaata.

Durga Roop Niranjani, Sukh Sampati Data,
Maiya Sukh Sampati Data
Jo koyee tumko dhyaataa, Ridhee Sidhee dhan paataa

Jis ghar mein tu rehtee, sab sukh guna aataa,
Maiya sab sukh guna aataa,
Taap paap mit jaataa, Man naheen ghabraataa.

Dhoop Deep phal meva, Ma sweekaar karo,
Maiya Ma sweekaar karo,
Gyaan prakaash karo Ma, Moha agyaan haro.

Maha Laxmiji ki Aarti, jo gaavey
Maiya nis din jo gaavey,
Uraananda samata, paap uttar jata.

3.Om jai jagdish hare This is the most popular aarti widely sung on all occasion. A hindu puja concludes with this aarti. An Indian kid grows up hearing this particular aarti.

bhakt jano ke sankat kshan men door kare
om jai jagdish hare
jo dhave phal pave, dukh binse man ka
sukh sampati ghar aave, kasht mite tan ka
om jai jagdish hare
mat pita tum mere,sharan gahu main kiski
tum bin aur na dooja,aas karun main jiski
om jai jagdish hare.....
tum puran parmatam,tum antaryami
paar brahm parmeshwar,tum sabke swami
om jai jagdish hare.....
tum ho ek agochar,sab ke pranpati
kis bidhi miluoo dyaamay,mai tum ko main kumti

deenbandu dukhharta tum thakur mere
apne haath uthao, dwaar pada tere

vishay vikaar mitao, paap hrao deva
shradha bhaktee badhao, santan kee seva
om jai jagdish hare.
4.Ramchandraji ki aarti- This aarti is dedicated to Lord Ram. Diwali is celebrated to commemorate the return of Ram and Sita from exile. This aarti can always be heard in temples.
5.Jai Aadya Shakti Ma aarti The Bengalis do kali puja on diwali and sing this aarti in praise of Durga, goddess of strength and power.
Ganesh aarti, Laxmi aarti and Om jai jagdish aarti are the three commonly recited aartis on diwali night in each household across India. The verses of aarti are extracted from old hindu scriptures and text. An aarti is dedicated to a particular deity, enlightening about the deity and its significance in Hindu mythology.
Earlier aartis were available to masses in the form of booklets known as 'aarti sangrey'(collection of aarti).In this information age , popular aartis are converted to devotional songs, sung by renowned bollywood singers and are readily available as audio discs.
