Shade of oil
footprint splat
Grassy tickle
walk with me
Don't tell me of him
Just walk with me.
Don't tell him anything
there is no child
nothing to chain us
Just walk with me
I hunt for you
wait here
watch me protect you
wait for me
I am a man for you
Where did you go?
Puddle of pain
still on my foot
cold and messy
stink and shallow
Cry and rot
whatever you do
Don't walk with me
time the illusion
perception the lie
what did I choose
over her?
oh yeah.
Oil.

at all the pain you caused

scattered on the ground
