Where can writers find a list of top Internet searches

Where can writers find a list of top Internet searches is something which writers may wish to establish for a number of reasons. Attempting to make this determination can be frustrating in that the information which the writer often obtains in this respect can be significantly out-dated before they acquire it and also from the point of view of the fact that there are many hundreds if not thousands of search engines.

Very often, the manner in which a writer is paid for online submissions depends on the number of page views which their article receives and therefore they are looking to earn some quick money by writing on a very topical issue. Alternatively, it may be that the writer wishes simply to attract top traffic to a blog posting on which to obtain a possibility of achieving high Google Adsense revenue or an optimum number of affiliate product sales. Whichever the case may be, it is clearly important that the writer obtain extremely accurate and up to date search engine information in terms of the top Internet searches presently being conducted.

The fact that there are so many search engines means that it is nigh on impossible for the writer to obtain details of the collective top Internet searches on an extremely timely basis. What the writer has to do therefore is focus upon the larger search engines from which the majority of their traffic is likely to come and utilise this very specific information to the best of their abilities.

Google of course remains by far and away the world's biggest search engine, despite all the many pretenders to its throne. This means that Google is the ideal place to start when seeking to find a list of top Internet searches. Fortunately, this is very easily determined on a daily basis, simply by visiting the Google trends page. The following hyperlink will provide access: trends.

Although Yahoo! and MSN have long vied for the number two search engine spot, it is likely that many will think of Yahoo! in this respect. The recent extensive modifications to the Yahoo! site and to the home page in particular have seen the current top ten searches on the Yahoo! search engine now listed to the top right of that page.

When a writer obtains this information regarding the top Internet searches in order to write a very timely piece, it is vital that they proceed to write the piece as soon as possible, on the basis that yesterday's news is old news. It is also advisable to narrow their competition down by writing to something which, although popular in the search engines, is not world front page news if they wish to know the greatest chances of success from this overall procedure.
