Tonga is an eclectic country where 'time begins' as well as ' stands still'; this is because the place has modern day life blended with ancient traditions, as the Tongans are well informed of international news, hip hop music, and simultaneously cherish a bowl of kava (local drink) and sit on traditional mats.
For the traveler, Tonga offers snorkeling, diving and whale watching. With its tiny-forested islets, deserted white beaches, vibrant reefs, along with water-based activities like fishing, surfing and Kayaking, tourists are left completely exotic.
