Consumed, some may call her so
Not an insult, considering what she's squandering it on.
Freedom
Who really is free? Are we all not caged in?
Both you and me?
Name it consumption, I don't mind your assumption
I'd pay a pretty penny to drown in the love I've found.
Sitting in my Volkswagen, in this deadbeat city, watching the busy bodies rove around.

who really is free? Are we not all caged in?
Both you and me?
Penning words to release the toxins of my heart.
The only ringing, that can be temporarily forgotten.
The flow comes steadily, it protrudes forth.

Freedom we petition.
Who really is free? Are we not all caged in?
Both you, and me?
